MRCOOL is the only brand in our dataset with true pre-charged DIY line sets - on its single-zone systems. The multi-zone bundles play by different rules (line sets are add-ons, and one page says so explicitly), and we flag that on each listing rather than letting the single-zone reputation carry over.

- Easy Pro vs DIY line: shorter line set (16 ft vs 25 ft) and lower SEER2, for roughly $700-1,200 less per system.
